When I give a hard-coded path to the written on an angular app then it works properly. But, if I try to render markup dynamically, like for instance, I am iterating a list using ng-repeat and it doesn't initialize the prettyPhoto function in the javascript.

Any Thoughts??

This one can be fixed by creating a directive of your own which actually works exactly like the jQuery script given with prettyPhoto.
Add the directive in your controller and it will work like a charm!!
