prettyPhoto no longer working

It seems that there's been a change with Apple and the Quicktime plugin on the newest system updates. I'm getting a missing plugin alert for any quicktime movies in prettyPhoto and my clients are slowly all starting to get missing plugin alerts.
Is anyone out there seeing this and come up with a workaround that does't involve updating on a system level? -

I have the same problem. Notice that even on Pretty Photo's home page, under the instructions for creating a Quicktime movie link, the demos there don't work on Mac's running Yosemite or later. How do we get an mp4 movie file to play on Mac browsers without using the Quicktime plug-in? I'll start a New Discussion on this as well.
