Gallery Images showing but no front and back arrows to click and move between photos

hello there..I am new to prettyGallery and to programming..I have followed the gallery example over and over again but its only showing the photos but no arrows to move from 1 picture to another..Also no heading..I am using the code given on the example..Can anyone have an idea why its not working?
