First of all great plugin, second of all, apoligies for the annoying IE query!

I have been able to add the plugin to a site gallery but in IE8, when you load the pictures, the next and previous buttons etc are displayed but they are not clickable. Its weird because the FB like button is clickable but the rest are not. Not sure why this would be?

I just have a basic version PP plugin working, haven't tweaked the original code at all really except the speed of the slideshow as I am new to jquery etc.

I am trying to install 2.5.6 through the WP plugin installer. I uploaded the compressed zip version, everything upload and installs, but when I click on "Activate Plugin" the next browser page says "The plugin does not have a valid header."

I think everything is in the prettyPhoto folder but I can't seem to manually install it. Any ideas?

Earlier today I downloaded the PrettyPhoto version from the WordPress site which is an old version - 1.6.1. I got it to work, but the Vimeo videos were cut off - may 10-15 pixels high with the button below it. I then found a support note from you guys suggestion that this was fixed in a later version.

This plugin is awesome! Any help would be appreciated. I really want to use this...

I finished with initialization of prettySociable on my page and I found out that thumbnails of websites are not in same layout as on demo page. On my page they are in 3 lines in 3+3+2 order instead of correct 4+4 two lines. Also all thumbnails have an ugly looking red frame. Just like usual photo links have borders.

I looked in all .css and also inspected the code of .js and couldn't found a solution for this.

First of all prettyPhoto is pretty nice plugin. Thanks for the same.

One question that I have:
Can I use prettyPhoto to loop over and display images present in given directory?

I'm trying to avoid hard coding of each image name and path. And want to find out if by giving directory name, slideshow will get created.

I just figured out pretty photo doesn't seems to be supported on Google Chrome for large images (it takes a while to load and each time you go to next or previous image it's long).

No problem though on Firefox and IE, is there any way to fix it ?

You can try the "index.html" page of PrettyPhoto and click on one of the picture of "Unusual sizes" category under chrome, it will result in a long time to load and long time for switching to next or previous image..

My chrome version is 15.0.874.121 if it can helps...

I'm currently using ISO entities to create outside links in the title tag for PP. This works really well and I understand you all are working on the ability to make this easier to implement without the need for ISO...

The problem is that when a user hovers over the image on my page, and the title is shown, it is the generated HTML link. So, if in the PP instance, the title is a very nice "check this [link]out[/link]" , the title on hover over the thumbnail is "check this [a href="blah.com" target"blah"]out[/a]" and so on.

My question is, is there a way to keep the 'title' tag intact in the href but use the PP CSS so that it doesn't pop up on hover?

Ha! This sounds crazy when I read it out loud. Is it clear what I mean here?

i would like to create a form in the Prettyphoto and want to able use to post a comment there..for this task i was working with inline content demo. and everything is done now.But got some confusion here.

1. i can not update the div in the the lightbox section with ajax.But when i try to update a div outside the lightbox rel div then it works fine.But i need to update a Div inside a Lightbox.Kindly help me here.
2. And when i click on the next button then a un-necessary margin is coming from the top and it is always increasing with every click of next and previous button.

Please help me here.i am stuck here since from last 4 days.

When viewing videos via prettyPhoto from the youtube stream, I'm still seeing the flash player.

Client is miffed their videos aren't viewable on iphone- I was really hoping this would do the trick!

Any suggestions?

the PrettyPhoto is a little bit different from the wp-plugin.

For expample: If you click in the wp-plugin on a youtube video, you open the youtube-website in a new window(bad). If you do this in the new version, the video stop (perfect).
