Pretty Photo links just open up a new window (no lightbox)

Hi, I tried the suggestion in the FAQ section and that didn't work. The URL from the project in question is http://siteandsounddesign.com/genevapop_2/#. In the Media section the first set of thumbnails are the links I'm trying to open. Please advise, thanks!

There is a problem with youtube player's height, it's always the same and it's too small.

I have checked the sample attached in the tarball and it has the same problem. I have checked http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/ too. It seems to be a programation error.

I'm trying to figure out how to fix it.

rel="prettyPhoto" is invalid keyword for rel attribute for HTML5?

Hi.

It is looks like W3C's validator return a validation error on prettyPhoto's rel attribute for HTML5 pages.

Bad value prettyPhoto for attribute rel on element a: Keyword prettyphoto is not registered.

Maybe it is time to add support for data-prettyPhoto="galleryName" (as an example) attribute?

Hi I am new, so maybe I have made a basic mistake.
I have copied the .js files and css file in to the relevant folders and added code as directed on the website.
But when you click the button to view the Video it just links it to the page and does not come up in a lightbox, any help?

I'm hoping to click a single link "More Info" and have my database content of events appear in slideshow form where only one event displays at a time but the user can click fwd or back arrows to move through the events.

Everything works except for the theme. Right now the player has no border at all. I want to use the light square theme, how do I set it up??

Problem with API Call / buysellads.com

Hello,

I just try prettyphoto 3.1.3 and get a problem with the API Call function.
The exemple working fine (all of them)
When I remove the script for buysellads.com to the API Call stop working correctly. I test in IE8 and Firefox 9.0.1, both work weird but a bit differently

On ie8, the box open the images doesn't load, got a blank frame with buttons, no buttons working except for the close button. If I use the close button, the frame of the box stay on and the website under stay in dark.

On firefox 9, the box open with no images or button. the box stay non closable (ESC doesn't even work).

I use the jquery lib include in the example, all I changed was removing the buysellads.com code from the exemple

HI. i am using pretty photo to generate images galleries.

i have galleries of XX photos, spanned in multiple pages (example 58 images spanned in 3 pages of 20 images).
i want to use the random order, but it seem the photos are selected looking at the images on the pages and not on the whole gallery, result in in duplicated photos from one page to another.

in each page of my gallery all the photos are different, but they can repeat photos seen in a different page.

any suggestion? thanks.

Slideshow thumbnails not showing when over 30 images

Hi I'm using PrettyPhoto 3.13 and for some reason when I have over 30 images in a gallery, the thumbnails don't appear on hover - only previous and next buttons show.
I've increased the demo galleries to 31 images and can replicate the problem. Thumbnails appear as expected with the version 3 beta I have been using up until now.

I'm having an issue with 1 site that I'm not with another.

First off I'd like to commend you guys on the excellent work, I'll be sure to donate once I'm finished with these projects that I have.

With that I came across prettPhoto in a template that 1 of my clients bought, and I love it. It works perfectly on that. I have tried to incorporate it in my own template, but I guess I'm missing something. I want it to look and work exactly like the template version, but mine is off a little bit and I have no idea of why that is. Here are links of exactly what I'm talking about.

You can see here that it works smooth, and has the magnifying glass show up when you hover over a picture.

As you can see, for whatever reason the thumbnail pics are off center and no magnifying glass.

Hello

I have some problem i've been trying to deal with today with no luck.

As you can see this page works fine

but if you open any page that has more thumbs for example

the thumbnails won't show up.

All images and thumbs are added dynamically.

Any help would be most welcome

Edit: Ok, i've found it, if you look in the script you will find the line

if(pp_images.length>30)settings.overlay_gallery=false

Not really sure what the limit is for but if you increase the number everything works fine.

Help integrating prettyPhoto with another jQuery slider

I'm trying to add prettyPhoto to this:

The UX being...thumbnails and simple slider for quick and EZ interaction. But then pop open to larger pseudo fullscreen images by using prettyPhoto. I've added a link to the larger image as well as the rel="prettyPhoto" to that link, etc.

But nuttin'.

The thumbnails, etc continue to work. But when I click the link that wraps the larger image, it simply open a tab to that image/URL. No prettyPhoto box.

Help? Please?! Thanks.

Not passing Variable to link

The PKey variable is not being recognized. I've tried setting this variable as a session (which does not pass to url) and as above. Everything is working except being able to pass this value. How do I add it?

I am having a problem with WP prettyphoto working with the new version WordPress 3.3 after updating from 3.2, when you click on thumb the viewer does not come up just the full size image. Anybody having this problem? Can anybody help?

Error: Image cannot be loaded. Make sure the path is correct and image exist.

I have used prettyPhoto for image galleries and vimeo video clips on a number of my website pages. All are working fine with the exception of 3 image galleries which are all coming up with the same error: "Image cannot be loaded. Make sure the path is correct and image exist." I have tried resizing all the images in terms of physical siz and resolution but it is still not working. I have rechecked the code a zillion times and the HTML code is exactly the same in all the pages, working and not. I am baffled as to why this is happening so any help would be greatly appreciated! cheers
