Viewing photos on tablet

Excuse my ignorance on the subject because I'm new.
When I open photos with prettyPhoto on a tablet it happens that the margins in vertical photos (in horizontal not so much note) are very large and the photos are very small.
Which file or how can be edited so that the upper and lower margin is smaller and can enlarge the photo.
