Multiple API Galleries per page

Im trying to enable multiple galleries on a single page. What im getting is the same exact gallery for each separate link. Im using the [API-gallery] so i can have one thumbnail image that links to a gallery. Since i have multiple galleries each link is just pulling up the same gallery. The API call im using is the same found in the example supplied with the prettyphoto download.
Is there a way to make this work?
