Page has to finish loading until prettyPhoto works!

Hi. I am just a beginner in using prettyPhoto, and i have successfully implemented it into our site. But the thing is, since it takes some time for the page to finish loading, it will take that time before prettyPhoto gets initialized and starts working. This is extremely annoying since the users clicks on the thumbs before the pages is completely loaded and nothing happens. The code has been inserted just as the documentation states, inside the head and just before the body-close tag. Visit http://www.maif.se/default.lasso?uid=27&id=6168, click the thumbs before page has finished loaded! Any ideas?!
