Can't Install - "The plugin does not have a valid header."

Hello,
I am trying to install 2.5.6 through the WP plugin installer. I uploaded the compressed zip version, everything upload and installs, but when I click on "Activate Plugin" the next browser page says "The plugin does not have a valid header."
I think everything is in the prettyPhoto folder but I can't seem to manually install it. Any ideas?
Earlier today I downloaded the PrettyPhoto version from the WordPress site which is an old version - 1.6.1. I got it to work, but the Vimeo videos were cut off - may 10-15 pixels high with the button below it. I then found a support note from you guys suggestion that this was fixed in a later version.
This plugin is awesome! Any help would be appreciated. I really want to use this...

I just experienced the same problem as described by Tom _verbatim. I tried installing the compressed and the uncompressed versions. I am using WP 3.0

by the way I'm using WordPress 3.2.1 and am attempting to install prettyphoto 3.1.3

I have just discovered this plug-in and ran into the same issue. From doing some googling, it appears that the issue is that the zip files are missing the main .php file in the main folder and the README file should be named readme.txt... No idea where to get the main .php file. I tried putting the version 1.6.1 php file in the 3.1.3 folder but that did not work.
