only opens associated image in new window

I have a web page comprised of an image split into several slices. I need to invoke pretty photo when you click on 4 different slices on the page, but when I copy/paste the code, all it does is open the associated image in a new window, not how the demo works. I've dissected the demo, but can't figure out what I need and what I don't. Is there a sample page I could go to that has nothing but what I need in it?
