OK I got it to work for the light box, but a new URL is not created for lightbox mode, its just the same as non-lightbox mode

hey whats up guys. i just had the same problem, and after checking my code like 10 times, i noticed i hadn't added a class into my list
ul class="gallery clearfix"
i had everything else, and it kept opening on a new window, but after i added that class, it worked.
make sure you have the js folders, the css, the script running on your html, and the prettyPhoto css referenced.

The installation instruction are a little lacking. I couldn't get it to work either. After multiple attempts I realized that when you download the jquery.js scripts they are named for their versions. I guess this is so you can select the one you desire. I searched and downloaded jquery.js 1.7 and placed it in the JS folder. Immediately everything began working.
