Get rid of margins or padding in pretty photo!!

I'm using prettyphoto to open html pages. I resized pretty photo to open at the same size of my #outer div. If in the html that I want to open I place a background image, prettyphoto display the html including the bg image.
How can I get rid of the margin or padding in the div?? Which one is the actual div content?

change the style
css/prettyPhoto.css
e.g line 122 changes padding on the left. -
I changed the padding to -10px and nothing changed!! ;(

I just setup pretty photo on my site and came accross this on accident! Just dump the "images" folder that came with the css and js. They seem to use images as the backgrounds, i checked out the code in firebug and found that the missing backgroung should have been:
"pp_left{background:url(../images/prettyPhoto/default/sprite_y.png) -7px 0 repeat-y;padding-left:13px}"
