Ajax example is blank in Chrome. Nothing loads.
  • I'm trying to use prettyPhoto to display ajax content. I used the format used on the example page included in the download and while it works on every other browser, chrome displays the lightbox with no content. Just a white box. Looking at the source code, nothing is even being loaded between "pp_inline" div.

    I thought I messed up, so looked at the example page in chrome and it is the same thing.

    I noticed that this example shown here works: http://www.no-margin-for-errors.com/projects/prettyphoto-jquery-lightbox-clone/

    What is different?

    My code is:
    href="ajax/eventscalendar.html?ajax=true&width=550&height=625" rel="prettyPhoto[ajax]"

    I'm using Chrome 11 on Windows 7.
  • Hi there,

    Is is possible to have access to a demo page? On first look it seems OK.
  • Sorry, I don't have anything available online. You can view the sample page included in the download of the script. The ajax link there doesn't work in Chrome for me. Works in all other browsers.

    Maybe it is because it is being viewed locally? I'll find a place to test.
  • Oh, probably yes.

    That's really the only difference I see.

  • Yup that was it. Strange how it doesn't work locally for Chrome.
  • Probably a security setting of some short to prevent ajax requests to interfere with your system.

Howdy, Stranger!
