Display the Thumbnails in Lightbox outside the image ?

Hello
Is there a way to show the Thumbnail-strip from the lightbox outside (under) the image (inside the white border where the go forward and back buttons are)?

take a look in the css file
- there you can edit the alignment. -
I would also like to have the thumbnail strip under the main photo but am unsure what to edit in the css file. I am a total noob to web design so any pointers are most welcome.

I know this is old, but I was searching for the same thing. Since I couldn't find it, I found the answer myself.... open up prettyPhoto.css and at line 441 you will find the attribute ".pp_gallery{".
Change this:
margin-top:-50px;
To This:
margin-top:70px;
