I just figured out pretty photo doesn't seems to be supported on Google Chrome for large images (it takes a while to load and each time you go to next or previous image it's long).

No problem though on Firefox and IE, is there any way to fix it ?

You can try the "index.html" page of PrettyPhoto and click on one of the picture of "Unusual sizes" category under chrome, it will result in a long time to load and long time for switching to next or previous image..

My chrome version is 15.0.874.121 if it can helps...

I'm currently using ISO entities to create outside links in the title tag for PP. This works really well and I understand you all are working on the ability to make this easier to implement without the need for ISO...

The problem is that when a user hovers over the image on my page, and the title is shown, it is the generated HTML link. So, if in the PP instance, the title is a very nice "check this [link]out[/link]" , the title on hover over the thumbnail is "check this [a href="blah.com" target"blah"]out[/a]" and so on.

My question is, is there a way to keep the 'title' tag intact in the href but use the PP CSS so that it doesn't pop up on hover?

Ha! This sounds crazy when I read it out loud. Is it clear what I mean here?

i would like to create a form in the Prettyphoto and want to able use to post a comment there..for this task i was working with inline content demo. and everything is done now.But got some confusion here.

1. i can not update the div in the the lightbox section with ajax.But when i try to update a div outside the lightbox rel div then it works fine.But i need to update a Div inside a Lightbox.Kindly help me here.
2. And when i click on the next button then a un-necessary margin is coming from the top and it is always increasing with every click of next and previous button.

When viewing videos via prettyPhoto from the youtube stream, I'm still seeing the flash player.

Client is miffed their videos aren't viewable on iphone- I was really hoping this would do the trick!

Any suggestions?

We've noticed persistent PrettyPhoto Flash-related issues with the Mac Safari 5.2 browser:
1) Delayed display for video and slideshowpro slideshow. Once video is visible, playback stutters.
2) Thumbnails and captions disabled within slideshowpro

Even on your own demo page, Flash support for Safari seems spotty. Your PP demo page here http://tinyurl.com/3ttc83n shows inconsistent performance for the Flash content. The mixed gallery at the very bottom of the page shows a blank page while the Flash 10 demo and YouTube video sort of work--but not smoothly.

We've used PrettyPhoto in several sections of our site at Wisconsin Public Television.

This works fine when it is embedded in the page, but fails when I try it from inside the prettyPhoto.
Instead of the javascript callback being called the browser loads the POST reply.

I tried adding "keyboard_shortcuts: false, deeplinking: false", but it made no change.

Do you have any ideas?

with version 3.0.1 everything was fine, but with version 3.1.2 when i open an image by clicking on the thumbnail prettyphoto modifies the link in the address-bar. If I close the image, go to another page in the website and then go back to my gallery, the image is reopened automatically because of the link in the addressbar.

Version 3.0.1 did not change the link, and it was fine.

Is it a bug? can it be fixed?

I´d like to know if there is some way to get the URL of the link that launches the prettyPhoto and send it to the social buttons, twitter&Facebook. For now in my site I just can share my vimeo&youtube videos in my own site. Always share my domain.com.

I want if my anchors have a URL like this: link. When I click in my link and prettyPhoto is launched that the social buttons share the href and not my domain.

Has anyone an idea for fixing this, please?

Let me first say pretty photo rocks! This is a great solution that I would like to use at work for a variety of projects. That being said, I have been having an issue with long descriptions. What happens is this:

Often in my business we need to display a 2-3 paragraph caption and photo credit. Most of the time this is not an issue. However the script doesn't work if the text is long enough to run off the bottom of the browser window or if a user has their browser zoomed way in (to make the text larger, for the visually impaired etc..)

What happens is the loading animation displays, and the container div tries to load the content. But the image, text, and interface buttons don't load. Worse than this the browser becomes unresponsive, before throwing an error.

Has anyone else found a way to display long descriptions, either with a custom theme in .css or an update to the javascript?

Any help is appreciated!
